All activities and the lessons start from the simplest, which is letter recognition with the corresbonding phonetic sound of each. Blending phonetic sounds makes a syllable or a word. Through this knowledge, preschoolers on their own could read simple word starting from VC (vowel-consonant), VCC, and CVC words , focusing first an short vowel sound. As the lessons advance, sight words are introduced . Consonant diagraphs, consonant clusters, and words with long vowel sounds.
