The Literature of the World:  Teaching and Learning in the Constructivist Approach

This study guides college students and teachers integrate constructivist  perspectives in the learning and teaching of literary masterpieces. Through its content of study, students and teachers are provided with the pleasure in the rediscovery of the beauty of literature and are shown how writings reflect not only the author's life and also the spirit of the age, the ideals of the nation and the commonalities of human nature.

Literature is a reflection of life; the literary pieces to be studied in this module are selected to meet CHED's objective , to see the human being as an integral person living both in a national and a global community
