This course will teach, train, and assist YOU to develop skills, knowledge and actual practicalities involved in preparing a safe and efficient voyage plan, aligned with STCW 2010, Table A - II/1, Table A - II/2, IMO Resolution A.893(21) - GUIDELINES FOR VOYAGE PLANNING. It will help YOU to understand the fundamental concepts of passage planning and acceptable methods of plotting ocean tracks, taking into account safe passage for navigation in restricted waters, severe meteorological conditions, thick ice, restricted visibility, traffic separation scheme and areas of extensive tidal effects.
